I want to come to Canada
An overview of the main immigration pathways. This information is general: rules change regularly, so always check the requirements on official websites.

- Three federal programs: Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades and Canadian Experience Class.
- The highest-ranked candidates may receive an invitation to apply.
- Since November 3, 2026, new rules apply to points for Canadian work experience and job offers.

- Each province has its own nominee streams.
- A visitor visa or eTA may be required for a temporary stay.
